Tetilla cheese is classified as a soft cheese due to its creamy, smooth texture. Its flavor is very well-balanced, and its aroma is distinctly reminiscent of fresh milk and freshly made butter. It contains a minimum of 45% fat and 35% protein (based on dry matter) and has a minimum maturation time of 8 days.
